  • Can you make bespoke size rooms?

    Yes, all of our rooms are made to order and can be made in any size and specification required.

  • How long does it take to install a garden room?

    Typically rooms take 14 -21  days on site to complete.

  • Do garden rooms need planning permission?

    For most areas the garden room size and height have been designed to negate the need for planning permission. As a result they fall within the permitted building regulations. We will confirm if permissions are required based on your design and can handle this for you.

  • What foundations are required?

    Mackie Garden Rooms will take full responsibility of the foundations and ensure they are prepared perfectly.


    Dependent on conditions of the site, we have a number of methods we use for foundations, ranging from screw piles to concreted grids. Our team will assess and decide the correct method for each project.

  • What if there is a problem with my garden room after completion

    TheMackie Garden Room guarantee means we will seek to remedy any defect or fault arising from materials or workmanship. The process and steps we will take are clearly set out in our Standard Terms and Conditions and our Mackie Garden Room guarantee.
